« on: January 08, 2008, 11:24:18 am »
The APWC have decided to allow standing order payments for membership, along with a new fee structure.

Fees
Sole Trader no employees £ 95.00.

monthly Standing Order payments of £10.00

1 - 5 Employees £ 150.00

6 - 10 Employees £ 200.00

This along with free life and accident insurance, also with discounts from leading suppliers, i am sure you will agree this represents good value for money.

We decided not to go with the free web hosting anymore we have honoured those who took it up initially. It worked out to time consuming and was costing us more than the membership fee to administer.
There are many companies out there who host a lot cheaper than you are paying at the moment, just have a look at Google.

How is everything with you now ?

Andy,

I attended a course recently and there was an Indian businessman who was offering web hosting for £50 a year.

I still have his details let me know if you want them and I will mail it to you.

Sorry Dave for adding this to your thread.

All the best to you guys.

You'll never get an answer to that but £10 a month sounds an easier way to join.  Every time I've meant to join some unexpected expense comes up.  Even though I earn a lot better now, things are still a bit tight due to past misjudgements.

This along with free life and accident insurance, Dve

This on it's own is worth the annual fees. Making it a monthly D/D scheme is a good idea too.

Yes it does cost slightly more for the standing order option, works out at £25.00 extra for the year.
This is the amount we expect it will cost us in extra admin over the 12 months to process the monthly payments.

There is no admin costs for those paying the fee in full.

I think if you become an employee half way through your membership year, no extra payment will be due until you next renew your membership.
