« on: January 03, 2008, 08:59:11 pm »
What is the lowest usable pure water ish reading that you can use?
Mine suddenly went from 000 to 011 and I do not know if this is usable
I had some at 001 which was fine and used some at 008
But what is the norm

Cheers Guys

0 is best
1 is not a lot different
5 works fine
10 rinsing has to be 100%
15 is borderline (some get away with it but most don't)

I've used 34 on my own house with no spots but I must have been very lucky with the type of windows I have but you would NEVER get away with it for work. I only use 000 for work, Luke

have to agree with luke, I only use 000ppm if I can, 001ppm if I really need to but working with 000ppm water allows you to work faster and with more confidence but I'd say you would be ok up to 005ppm, anything over that and you could end up with glass acne.

000ppm is quiet high really when you think that in some applications they need to use water that`s 000 parts per billion, although 000ppm is good enough to clean window`s LOL. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

no one is parts per millions this is 000 parts per billion thats a 1000 times more

the equivalents is 001 for us, i guess would be 100 for the guys needing per billion

Yeh, but a 1000 times 0 is 0..... so isnt no parts in a million, no parts in a billion? Unless our 0ppm is actually 0.0001? Which means it isnt actually zero.... :P
