At least you can turn something out in this weather, no need to justify to custys like you might if its raining; but by christ I found it cold today, cold ladder, cold hands, biting wind, can't work very efficiently I find in this weather, feel so stiff (o'er missus  ) nad less able to move around as well as normal; feel like I been run over by a bus after today.

It never got above 2c all day in my part of Sussex and most of the day it was 0 or 1.  I worked the last two hours or so in sleet and snow though it never got too heavy.

A good day in Swindon, cold but dry. Anyday which is dry is great to me. I don't mind how cold it is just as long as the rain keeps away.
Swindon is lucky anyway when it comes to weather, as we are in a valley here, so we rarely get bad snow. Of course when it does come, the whole place grinds to a halt..... never happens in other countries but why here? We never seem able to cope with it.

I find it better because I can wrap up more.

Gloves get in the way working trad, and they just get your cloth damp and you smudge the edges.
Also too many layers restrict your movement.

Today working wfp I was done up like a eskimo and worked fine.

True Squeaky you can wear better winter clothes when working WFP,i found that going up and down ladders allday tracksuit type material for trousers were a must as proper trousers were to heavy and in the summer would stick to your knees.Shoes also last longer working WFP as the constant ladder work would ruin them.
