There are 35 million households in the uk, some wont spend £5 to have their conservatory roof cleaned, and the members of moneysavingexpert arent the ideal target market for earning any money out of.

That said if you could convince them that your method of cleaning was the best, prevented algae regrowth etc for the longest period of time etc etc. And load the price to drop close then Im sure that some of those tightwads would part with over £70 an hour to get their conservatory cleaned.

hi gazza im going in to this this year did you only use the wfp on it did you use pure or normal water on it how did you clean the i think they are called finnials if not someone will tel me the pointy bits on the roof please let me know as this is one of my goals for 2008 thanks m.b.s.

Some hideous buildigns there, but that aside.... yes they are called finials, I would think that the best way to do them was with a toothbrush closeup, failing that soak in chemicals and rinse?

Just use a pole with brush at an angle so its facing onto the finials, and genlty aggitate, thats all i do. Just dont be heavy handed, or u will need a cons ladder to put em back up..

TFR god bless it and yes be very gentle they vary in how robust they are but some are very flimsy so check your insurance or borrow a cons ladder or both

Hi,

It took me 1 & half hours. yes all with yhe brush, I put TFR on first did all the top windows of the house then did the roof, as said be gentel. I just used pure water, but sometimes i ues tap water first then finish with pure, job done

done a couple at 20 quid took an hour each, not often though at that price.... but twenty quid or more for an hours work.. not to be sniffed at in my view.
