It looks similar, doesnt require a waste tank and has the same name......is it a blatant copy? does John endorse it? is it cheaper?

This new ones got a bigger blower ( 33 ) and a bigger engine.

Something to think about is that the standard 13hp Prowler is belt driven and in the way the gearing is tuned will turn the vac blower faster than the engine so if the new 15hp version is direct drive the blower even if it is bigger will be turned at the same speed as the engine so will have any more suck?

silly question,does the prowler have a problem with foaming, like portys do?,because it drives me round the bend,any ideas on how to stop it is welcomed.

Buy defoamer - mix with water in a bucket - suck it thro your hoses just before you start the job.
Coats inside of your hoses then goes in waste tank.
Then anything sucked up thats likely to foam is being resisted as it goes into machine.
Are you using cleaning agent thats suceptable tofoaming?
or is it something"lurking" in the carpet being cleaned - like fluid the client has used previously?

Only once did I have a problem when customer had used washing up liquid to clean up spill just removed filter box ran it under tap then it cleared itself.Never had as many problems as when I was running blazer which regularly foamed up.Never had to buy defoamer since using prowler.
