is there a difference between different types of resin? i.e lasting?
And do you guys know where to get the good stuff from, mine doesnt seem to last that long

What are you using? ( maybe it's purolite )

Yes, there is a big difference, virgin & none virgin. The best i have found is DOWEX. Wintecs supply it with free delivery.

I've been using purolite for a while now and had no idea that it was regenerated resin.  It's not something that would have been obvious to me as it doesn't get changed very often anyway because I'm polishing RO'd water with it.
I don't suppose it would matter too much so long as it's made clear at the point of sale that the resin is regenerated and that the price is an accurate reflection of how long the resin lasts.

I use dowex, have used purolite in the past, but dowex def lasts longer, although my ro water is only 9ppm and I have an 11ltr di vessel and a 19ltr vessel in series.

i have never heard of buyer resin before, next time round am going for tulsion from da services, it seems a lot better from what i have heard, and cheaper,
