Just got all sorted and moved into a new house - TDS where I used to live was 097, not too bad really..... Just use a DI vessel.

Have just tested the water at the new place and its 023, couldn't believe it, I tested it 3 more times just to make sure. 

Think I'll get myself a new brush with the money I will save on resin.    Didn't tell the wife, she thinks I'm like Emelda Marcos, but with brushes.

Can anyone beat that !  This is straight from the tap - not rainwater...... !

23! thats what mine is after going through the 5 stage RO Unit. - From tap is about 250-300
