had a few emails lately with people asking me to add a link to my web site has it woill help optimazation for us both, but after looking on google there website is not very high up and mine is first are  they just trying to use me ??

I sent him details of a large window cleaning job that was going out to tender, not even a thank you from them

I get these every day,  :

they are not in the same work as you for a start, I am not going to plug my site this time, because i will get stick for it and i cant be bothered to reply to it, but linking to sites that are in the same line ect is a benifit for you, linking to directories (most of them) IMO is a bad move as they have some many other window cleaners on the same page it is pointless, I personally dont do this, I like to be different and I know full well my site works.

Yes I have been emailing window cleaning companies seeing if we can link sites as someone told me it would boost your search engine ranking. I thought I would give it a try (no harm in asking).

As I’m pretty useless with computers and it sounded an easy way to do things.

Hope I have not offended anyone by doing this and I did not use this site to get your email address’s I went through the top ten pages in Google.

As Ronnie said I am not listed anywhere on google at the moment. (but I did get as high a page 2 for a while then all of a sudden disappeared )

Carry on m8, it will help you as long as the sites are related that you are linking to and them linking back,

Any one that wants to link to my sites feel free and let me know and i will have the web guys put a link back.

This does work so if you can find people carrying out the same work but not direct compertition then good idea to link sites.
