Pricing Pubs
« on: December 18, 2007, 07:37:27 pm »
Hello all,

Have got 2 pubs to price, and have some idea what to go in at.
We already do a couple of restaurants & dentists, so is the pub trade worth getting into or not?
I have read on here before that sometimes they are not worth the hassle.

I do a couple and they are a doddle. Few greasy hand prints by kids at meal time but nothing to bad and a lot easier now due to the smoking ban. I dont think there are any bad jobs as long as the price is right.

Only thing with pubs landlords come and go . Just dont drop any work for them no matter how good you are a new landlord could bring the Window cleaner from the pub they just left. Also found landlords dont get up to early these days  average pub £30 per clean

Must admit I was going to go in at a higher price, maybe £50. If it was a domestic job & I was pricing it by the window frame/panes of glass, I would have priced it a lot higher, but I realise that commercial does not work in the same way does it?
How long do they usually take?
It would be good money if you could crash it out in an hour or so.

They are easier now the smoking ban has come into effect. No longer have the yellow nicotine mixed with condensation to clean off the inside.
Where am I knocking today?
