i took mine out of the van this morning and it was froze solid didnt ntice it at first till i did the first window and it sounded like i hit the window with a brick and the water on the window froze has this  happened to any of you this week luckely my wfp gear hasent froze yet as i cover every thing up with an old quilt tank hose pump pole how many people have been cought out

I thought you would have just dipped it in hot water.

umm no cuz we always have a fresh hot mix to go out with.
Didn't you dip the applicator before going to the first window?

I thought you would have just dipped it in hot water.
i did m8 but it was first job  new water in bucket diped apllicator straight on to window only a quick dip to wet it then realised andput it back in bucket till it un froze just wondering how many this had hppent to this week another window cleaner said when i told him to leave the water in the bucket in the van and it wouldent happen yeh right i thought my water would freez in the bucket over night then and the applicator would be stuck in the ice water then

Wednesday morning. 7:30 poled seven windows which promptly froze. My thoughts were they only froze after rinsing so most of the nasties have gone and will fall from the window as they thaw.

French door entrance. Can't pole in case somebody slips so out with BOAB. Soap up both glass panes ready to squeegee. Both frozen solid within seconds. A fantastic (new but seemingly very old technique developed to clear the glass), breathe then buff  :-\

Took longer than hoped but it worked  :D
hope this dosent happen in the morning working in harrogate one of the coldist spots round here at 6am so i hope it dosent happen as they are big shop windows
