We weren't gonna mention it but we do a £3 million house overlooking a very nice national golf course which is a very good payer. Takes two of us 6 hours to do from 8am - 2pm. We did it today and received a £100 tip....EACH!!!

Then again he has just sold his business for 40 million!!!

Not complaining though
Result  ;)

Hi,
It's your friendly tax inspector here.
So far we have 10 peoplewho had better fill in their tax returns correctly next time with some pounds sterling mentioned in the relevant graturities box.
You have been warned people, so does anyone want to better £100 times 2?

I don't accept tips, In fact I give all of my customers £100 each! Mr Tax Man, Is this tax deductable?? ;D

I got a £2 tip the other day and a little Xmas prezzie.  It was a few of those mini pots of jam.  Very nice too as I've got a sweet tooth (what's left of them anyway).

Lots of tips last week, but crap this week because I'm working an area of moaners who are tight.
I really wanted to swap things around, because this area doesn't deserve the pre-xmas clean. >:(
Trouble is, I was on time, so couldn't do anything else that early.

That's the beauty of being behind, you can swap things about.

£20 from a £6.50 job, a very nice surprise.   Now for a true story on tips I once worked with a guy who fell of a flat roof and damaged his wrist a month before Christmas he did not come back to work until April but when he did he asked which of the jobs had given us tips, he then proceded to go round the jobs that hadn't tipped us and asked for his Christmas tip and believe it or not some of them actually gave him some money! Thick skinned or what?
