I had a card from one custy, never met her, its by telephone arrangement, she left the card in an envelope in the usual payment place, saying 'Thanks for doing such a good job' with £5.00 in it as the tip, was nice to have the note almost more than the money, especially as we've never met.

This year, £5.00 has been the most any single custy has given.

You're not wrong there.

Bought wfp, annoyed them, got £110 so far this year. ::)

(biggest one was £15 by the way, from a £15 job)

I'm confused, so you actually have to say how much £ in tips you've got on the tax return? What a absolute load of rubbish.

£10 here, on a £115 Job :)

With a name like Rosy, where I come from thats female, I would have thought your sexuality wasnt heterosexual. Not that that matters, just it would seem odd IMO a female broadcasting the fact that she cops a gander at another woman sweatermeat.

However with a real name of Tim, yup, Im confused.

Rosy is my nick IRL, if I were a woman I would be called 'Rosie', short for Rosemary, which is not a nickname.Hope you are not confused any more.   ::)

I love the way some  people on here  bang on about the tax man. We declare all our income through our accountant so we have nothing to worry about, do we!!

A hint of jealousy perhaps about our one big tip!!

I didn't start this thread just responded to it.

There's always someone who wants to put a damper on a bit of good news. Personally I would have responded with..."nice one, well done".

Happy xmas everyone.

Yeh nice one well done. Don't have a problem with you if you are willing to pay tax on it. Personally I have a big problem with paying tax on a gift ;)
I was just putting a warning out to those who think this is a secure chat room where you can boost about cash payments, tips etc when infact it is the easiest place for some tax inspector to get his results ratio up.
