go into poundland, and look for the animal towels or flannels, 40cm by 80cm 1 pound each, they are amazing,

do a few nursing homes so when the residents pass away we clean the cill with there old undapants!!!

We use Spontex decorators sponges, standard size, there made from 100% cellulose and very absorbent.

We detail the glass edges with scrim then use the sponge for frames and sills, the benefit they have over cloths is they are easier to wring out. Also you dont get through so much scrim per day this keeps it cleaner and dryer for detailing glass.

I find terry toweling excellent for the job. Ok I may buy bundles from charity shops, If I was a true professional, I suppose I would  buy new ones from Marks and sparks.
They are for wiping dirty sills for goodness sake

Just taken delivery of 10 yellow micro sill cloths from soap national and there perfect.
