Ok, I was going to get that heater on ebay but I'm using a camping stove instead now. I put it on a slab inside the van and it just keeps the temperature above freezing, not hot but nothing ever freezes with it like that. The way I put it in the van its impossible for it to fall over and it has a very low centre of gravity too. Its not a permanent solution but it will do for this winter, Luke

Do you not have trouble with freezing NWH? I have only been caught out once and all the hose was frozen, Luke

I drive 18-20 miles to work every day with the heater full on pointed towards the pump and tank, but even when i first get in it`s no where near problem causing. When you start first thing in the morning make sure you keep the cold out by closing all the doors on the van,the only problem you might have is the pole hose,if i`m not using a pole i never leave it in the shade when cold or it will freeze, but the small hoses are easy to warm up.

Dave it wasn't me who posted about a fishermsn heater!! NWH, what van do you use because it must be well insulated because I drive a Peugeot Expert and it was frozen before I had been in it. But now its fine with the heater, Luke

oooh that looks very nice. Is that one big enough for the whole van with RO mounted etc? Pumps etc don't freeze?

How is the smell? Is it easy to get rid of just by turning the blower up a notch?

What's parafine anyway? Is it easy to buy/cheap?

Also, how safe is it? I'm guessing it won't tip over, but what if.......?
