Do you do free cleans?

have to add a reply, I do not offer free cleans ever to get custom, if there is a problem with our cleaning then it is done the next day free.

the only time I would offer a free clean is if my customers recommend enough new business to warrant them getting a free clean. normally 5 maybe 10 new customers.

If you collect enough Nectar points they do  :)
I might take a year to get a free shop out of them though.

Actually, yes.

I used to do the one window of a nursery next to one of my other jobs, because I knew some of the girls there.

Took 30 seconds to do, but not worth knocking the door and fetching the boss for the sake of a quid!

I was just thinking about that thread myself after reading this one.

I am lost for words.

Really I am, I think the only thing Im liable to say might offend, so I'll shut up.

Try shutting up, it suits you better. Don't you xxxx's read the threads properly?
I merely added a poll in addition to this thread by Lee.

Try reading it again (if you can).

Quote
been wfp 15 months,
probably got 250 customers
trouble is i made classic mistake of under pricing, i'd say 30% under priced.

Was thinking of putting out some home made leaflets in really nice areas offering a free clean for the front of prospective customer.
hopefully they become regular.
Reason being if i could build up some better priced work fast then go back to original work and hit customers with letter explaining i under priced at the beginning.

If they dump me it won't matter as hopefully would have picked up new work anyway.

Am i crazy has anyone ever offered a free clean to get customers?
does it work or do you just get exploitecd?

Why don't you go on a self-control and concentration course and try reading the threads properly?
