Why does rubber squeagee blade sometimes grip the bloody glass - even with water/soap?

Maybe you're overlapping your strokes too much or try using a better quality rubber.

Personally i always use unger soft rubber and a bit of fairy. I've tried other products over the years but i find these the best.

I have had trouble with unger soft rubber recently so I can see where Rose is coming from.

Had no troubles before.

By stretching the rubber more seems to have eleviated the problem.

unger soft in the summer & unger hard in the winter with a touch of antifreeze .

Unger Hard leaves big bands around the edges. You need Unger soft and fairy liquid. A perfect combination.

yeh i go with that,but i prefer ettore soft or pulex soft
never had any probs with either

soft rubber and a bit of unger u cant get a better combination.There is no other way

I'm surprised nobody even gave him the correct answer. It's because glass can be hydrophobic, ie not sheeting (hydrophilic) glass. On Hydrophobic (beading) the water beads up, leaving 'dry' bits of glass in between the beads, hence there is more a gripping/sliding effect going on, which is quite annoying.

Sometimes also it can be the customer have cleaned their own with windolene or something which makes it really hard to squegee, but mainly its the hydro phobic/phillic thing
