I don't believe you can speedliner your van floor for just £70!!

You can certainly use protectakote for that price, but it is not a patch on speedliner which is the rolls royce of  floor protection.
After that it would be fibreglass, followed by the less durable Protectakote.

A thing to remember is that when you look at what you actually need, it can be done for considerably less than the likes of Ionics will do it.
This isn't to denigrate Ionics or any of the other major players, they are all highly professional, leaders in their field and will supply and fit you with a top class system.

Van mount:
Water proof floor, either Protectakote @ £70, fibreglass @ £100 or top end speedliner (expensive!)
Caged tank
Battery
Pump or pumps if more than one man band.
ditto hose reels
Poles (go for the lightest setup you can afford, and looking at the prices you quoted from Ionics you can get top flight poles for way less than that!)
Pole hose.
Lightweight brushes
And hose, personally I'd recommend microbore.

I think thats it....presumably you already have an R/O setup?
If not, then include that in the list.

I can understand you not wanting to DIY it, and if yo uwere preared to spend close to 7k for an ionics setup, there are other suppliers that will sort you out a system for considerably less than that...but Ionics won't be ripping you off.

both companys will give you a very good system as good as the one ionics would fit for the money.

You can get very good poles a lot cheaper at gardenerpolesystems or www.cleaningspot.co.uk.  The shorter poles that are sold by ionics were not designed for window cleaning any way, go for an xtel as has already been said.  Most people on here would have spent a fraction on there systems compared to what you are thinking of spending.

Ty 4 advice m8 where i live in the northeast there is only 2 available places which is  ionics which is only in newcastle then the nest closest place is blackpool i compaired the prices of the both and the time and money spent on traveling there and hotel and stuff about the same .

have a look at these websites. Unless your taking your family for the week as well, you will save money.
There are several suppliers who do packages. Which one you go for will depend largely on how much you have to spend but checking the links of some suppliers below will give you some idea.

I got good service with gardiners at a good price. Don't be put off by diy. The only thing you need to do is to connect things together. Even i could do it.
You can get a frame fitted at any garage local to you. They will all do it.

I dont have ionic gear YET, but I've been on the courses run by the bwca and seen plenty of their kit in action.  I'll be the first to admit it isnt the cheapest option, but to be quite honest now that I have seen it everyting else does look kinda rubbish when compared.

There was a fella on the course who had payed about £2500 for his 600 liter system from one of the suppliers that has been mentioned, and no disrespect to anyone, but it looked totally home-made.  It was a diy job that some bloke had thrown together and then charged way over the odds for, and there seems to be loads of suppliers like that.  I was shown rounf ionics factory on the course day, and one thing i know is that it aint bodged together by some window cleaner bloke who thinks he can make a few squid on the side by selling systems.

Ionics stuff is well made and pro looking, and when I get my new system in the new year its that i'll be getting, probably a pro-5, hot water if i can afford it.  I'm taking the view that if your gonna do something you might just as well do it properly like, and lease payments are not all that steep.

Sure you can spend a weekend bodging something together f your that way inclined, but imho thats a waste of time, beter to just buy something you will work and is garanteed if it goes wrong.

Oh and i'm very much looking forward to having that reach and wash logo on my van.

You don`t need a lot but you do need a little bit of DIY knowledge in order to keep up and running beleive me,you need to be able to fault find to some degree and keep a few spares,for most people ionic is not just up the road.

Just look at the components ......... there is hardly anything there is there? Tank, ro.di., pump reel hose, cage and brackets. All the manufacturers are doing the same - making pure water and sending it up a pole. If you want a heated system then diy may not be advisable. If you have plenty of dosh then go ahead but it's hardly worth overspending. Customers are not interested in what it looks like.

Tank Fitting can go wrong, but if that's done pro. then if anything else goes wrong, then that person must have an IQ of a monkey, or not willing to learn. If you don't want to learn and have a big wallet and like to burn money, then go for it. But Everyone can do it DIY, seriously. Just research and asking questions. And it's fun doing it in the process.

And indeed customers are not interested in how it looks, 98% of the time the van is closed anyway lol.

The other thing that i find really laughable is the "windowcleaning acadamy" side of things. Cleaning windows by watever method you choose is not exactly brain taxing and hardly worth forking out to sit in a classroom. Just trawl the internet for free.
 The whole pure water system is so unbelievably simple - don't get sucked in by anyone telling you otherwise.

its not to have the best van or the most amazing set up, its to clean windows!

£7000? you say you cant afford not to work, then how can you afford £7000 to clean windows, that's ridiculous,

all you need to worry about is, does it clean windows? is it safe?

The most important thing about WFP isn't what manufacturer's tank system you have fitted in your van BUT what pole and brush head you use, because at the end of the day that is your work tool you'll be holding hour after hour, day after day to earn a living.
You want a rigid pole that is light with a mono-filament brush on the end of it. The next most important thing is to learn the correct method of using WFP to avoid complaints from customers and become very familiar with it so that you can increase your speed to earn more money.
Then you can part with your hard earned cash on hot WFP systems and all singing, all dancing tanks that Joe Public are probably never ever going to see and aren't really interested in anyhow but will you make feel more professional,  raise your self esteem and probably boost your ego
By the way, I built my system myself with the help of one WFP supplier when I first started because the internet help (forums, suppliers weren't well known) and after several years WFP have only just had a water heater installed by Omnipole (even then, I made a recommendation to them regarding the installation after it was fitted, as I'm helpful like that). It's been a learning experience from day one, but I can fault find a problem in minutes and I probably appreciate my WFP gear more than a ready made turnkey operation because I learnt the hard way by myself.
