I have a problem a pump problem

Hello

i bought this pump from somewhere

only problem is, is that its 115v, is there anyway i can change power supply to make it work with a 12v battery

or will it work with a 12v battery

You need a power inverter. Take a look at the Maplin website. They should supply the one you need.

An Inverter takes a low voltage and inverts it to a higher voltage, a transformer takes a higher voltage and converts it to a lower voltage? Guess which one you need.

It will not work direct from a battery, batteries are DC and your pump is A/C

You need a 12V dc to 115 ac inverter.  I have just had a look and Maplin don't stock them.  RS Components might.
