Ey? Neoprene is supposed to let water through, it creates in insulating layer which keeps the hands warm.

Alex, how good are these for Traditional? Wringing out cloths and sorts. The new Unger gloves are falling apart after less then a week!!!!!

I wouldn't recommend them for traditional window cleaning.  For really cold winter weather, especially when it's wet, I would recommend a pair of Glacier Gloves.  They are not so good for pole work though as they can wear through quickly.  I have a pair which I do use for pole work but only occasionally when it is very cold and wet.

Little tip for those with Gull Gloves. Me being a bit of a girly liked my gloves to be toastie warm in the morning so used to put them on the rad to dry out and ready for next day.

Only had them a few weeks and they are all split and full of holes. They have split on most of the seams. So i presume you're not supposed to dry them like this but to let them dry naturally.
Any advice Alex?

I do dry mine on a radiator but it's best to take them off when they are still supple (after about an hour) not when they are crispy!

usually i find when alex recomends a product he is spot on, but the gul gloves i hated i have large hands and ordered the xtra large not from alex because he wasnt stocking them then when they came i could hardly get my hands in them and within five minutes my hands where wet through and cold so i took them off as it was warmer without them.
  having said that i have never wore gloves in twenty five years of window cleaning so maybe i have got used to working this way and i wont get used to any glove.

I think this could have been my problem as well. I have very large hands and the XL Gull gloves were still quite tight and could have done with a size bigger. Because they were quite tight I also dont think I got the best out of them either.

Easy clean,

yes they are 100% waterproof as they have a layer in between the fabric.

Not only are they waterproof, they are warm = EXCELLENT when using pole.

Bought them from Blacks, outdoor shop.
