overnight storage of RO unit

Hi all
over the past few nights as you know its been icy / frosty, do you leave your RO and DI resin filters outside or should you bring them into garage etc?
also
when you turn off the tap for the night and have finished making water for the day should you empty as much water out of the filters and DI unit or leave them with water in.
Any advice would be great as i am quite new to WFP and dont want to ruin membranes / Resin life etc
cheers

Hi
My RO usually works all night so when it is, it isn't a worry.
When it not working, ie. weekend, then I uncouple it from the outside tap and put it in the bath before we go to bed. Always put the bath mat in first so any dirt on the RO won't scratch the bath's surface.
The wife hates it but hey, it works for me - although I can't say we had too many freezing nights last winter in Saltburn, Cleveland.
