Window cleaning is not just an occupation. It is a business. I would encourage every single person on this forum to remember this.
You can do this for a living for a great cash flow and you can proceed on with a plan for a career and retirement.
I do not mean to make it sound easy; it is a lot of work. But it is a wonderful occupation that will prosper as much as you push it. I feel like I have barely scratched the surface as far as potential, and I am considered "successful".
I am thrilled that my 27 year old son is now proceeding with a serious plan for a window cleaning/pressure washing business. He has helped me occasionally for 14 years; thought window cleaning was not for him.
He and his wife now work as a team cleaning windows 4 days a week. It is paying the bills. Now I know I can pass on to him all my accounts; everything. I was concerned as to what would happen to my business when I am gone or retire for real one day.
It is awesome that you can be self employed cleaning windows! It is as serious as you want it to be.
If you really like it; develop it !
Window cleaners are an awesome breed! (My small advice regarding what I know.)
What do you guys think?
Cheers,
