New year goals!
« on: November 04, 2007, 10:52:42 am »
Ok so, 2008 will be here before you know it, anyone have any business or personal goals set?

I plan to leaflet 20-30k leaflets in the spring, to bring my round up to full capacity working on my own.

With the extra revenue, its saving time for a deposit on a house, prob take a good 8-10months saving, but i'm determined.

I'm keeping it simple and achievable, that way, i dont need to rely on luck!!!  ;)

So, anyone one else?

Always good to have goals and or targets.

I have set a few this year have already hit every target and now working on 2008 targets.

100 more clients for webdesign will be my target for the first half of the year, and another wfp 2 man van mount on road by july. and top up with new custom.

That keeps me busy but add new targets all the time, so the list never stops.  ;D

I aim to double my customer base (currently 100 started in September) by March, and now that I have a wfp I want to be able to do 20 houses per day...

I.m working as a subby getting 80% of what i clean which is a good deal  ;) but only need to work 3-4 days a week, hoping to get my own little round may'be 50 houses to start with then bulid it up to a comfortable round working on my own and maybe getting a youngish lad/lass (in his/her 20's) to help out now and then or just so that i can take days off holidays e.t.c. I don't want to be rich just want to have a more settled life for myself and my wife. As long as i can afford to pay for where i stay, take a couple of holidays a year and have enough in my pocket for a beer at the weekend I'm happy. :)
God loves a tryer but trying tae clean windaes in the rain - It's a mugs game

*Increase my customer base by 80 accounts (maintaining avg price per job as at present)....and hit turnover target.

*Stop pricing cons, facia, gutter and woodwork cleans so low.

*Try not to be ripped off as many times.  ;D

*Buy the misses something that will put that special smile on her face.

*Dive more and stress out less.

*Try to spend way less time on this forum.

im surprised how many people visit this forum each evening. But its good everyone can help.

Its all hanging on tommorow 7th Nov for me as i have my first driving test, i need to pass to use my estate car. Im only 17.7 years old but have to pass my driving test otherwise i will have to wait until next time to do the window cleaning round.

The sooner i pass the sooner i can get more customers, and work more- my round is about 45 minutes away and il be doing it on my own.

glad my mother who owns the car im going to use hasnt seen how much welding ive done in the back and holes ive drilled in the roof.

i know i should get a van, but for the meantime i have a nice
ford escort estate,
ive welded some holders to hold my 8 25 litre water tanks for the trolleys, and have the seats down at the back all the time, and i cant get a roof rack for it so i bolted custom ones to the roof! shouldnt need it much with wfp's though- and have a hose reel bolted to the metal floor - its all ready to go, just hope i pass-

its mostly likely il fail but its a big thing going from motorbike liscence to car / van etc. i cant exactly stick a ladder on the side of my bike and water fed pole along the other.

here goes anyway
