Hi mate
Do you have the new superlite-2?
If so, how do you rate it & are the sections strong enough to just throw on the ground when taken off?

Hello mate, yes i have it and it`s better than the first one but as you stated we all take a section off on jobs and it is tempting to throw it on the ground i used to do but no more, the sections are thickly wrapped with carbon but the bottom of the sections still chip easily if accidently dropped etc,i dropped a extension section the other day and it did chip slightly but nothing major cos it`s a section that has an end cover for it.It comes with an ajustable green bung but in my opinion there needs to be protecter covers for each section as there is with the Emporium new pole, the main problem with this pole because it`s slightly longer than the first version won`t go in my storage tubes that i already have and storing it in a bag is not practical,i feel it NEEDS some sort of proper storage tubes because when using it for domestic it`s in and out every 20-30mins,you know what i think of facelift and this pole will be the only other one you`ll need Tony. For anything over the 24ft facelift this is the closest thing to heaven.

Cheers dude, i trust your oppinion :-*
Might look into this emporium pole, i hate having to be gentle with poles ;) although i do have complete faith in Alex, have to dig deeper.

Tony, you can just wrap insulating tape around the base of each section to make a collar( but then they won't store inside each other so neatly) Whilst i love the pole it's not ideal for domestic rounds imo although you could use it as such. It's when you get to third story that it comes into it's own or reaching over cons. roofs. One of these and a shorter telescopic pole would make the perfect set.  :)

The 24ft facelift and the 40-45ft S2 is all you need apart from maybe a short pole for downstairs if prefered.

I would second that. I'm watching for Alex's telescopic carbon pole to come out as it should have shorter sections than the facelift i believe.

I'm picking up an S2 tomorrow.  I won't be using it much on my domestic work (except for occasional very difficult windows) but I have picked up some higher work now with longer runs of windows.  Those are the sort of jobs where I believe the S2 will come into its own.  I must learn to be less slob handed though.

I know what you mean.  I'm thinking of starting a WFP museum and I've only been using that method a bit over two years.

Yes I did.  I was there from about 11 till 12 or so.  If you had said you were going to be there we could have arranged a meet.
Well the pole looks very pretty but I haven't used it yet.  I will only be using it sparingly on certain jobs as mopst of my work is more suitable for 18 ft telescopic poles.  I just use an Extender for them - chgeap and cheerful and easily replaced.  No point using the S2 for most of my work as it would be like playing football in my best suit.
