Anyone tried this?
« on: October 31, 2007, 08:12:26 pm »
Like many of you I also clean gutters & facias. Im going to advertise in yellow pages/yell.com. The advert will go under window cleaners and gutter services but my company name will be followed by "window cleaners" & "gutter cleaning services" .
This way im seling what I do under two different headings and catching peoples attention with the first line.
Now Im thinking of paying for a small box (only for the gutter advert) for £13 a month but will this gain me any more work?
If the first line, which is the only line on a free listing, tells people what I do is there any reason to pay more. What advice can you all give as I really want to push the gutter work now (baby on the way) :D

if you having an add in the YP make sure you have a website, and put it on the add, this way you can limit your costs of advertising in there and people that want to know more can view everything you do on your website.
