Dave,

Make sure you follow in the FED and other organisation requirements otherwise you will be leaving yourself open ;)

With the FED they require proof of insurance, training etc.
SLWCN proof of licence

You need to run it proffesionally otherwise you will get the comments I have come accross from customers ##### site. Do it right them you will become a recognised trade name :)

apwc are in the business of leading not following(hopefully). The precedents set in this industry are awfull.
I still can't get over your posting DA that you use magnetic signs that you take off. Very professional.

VG that was the advise I was given, yes you do have to take them off otherwise they stick to your van from speaking to other w/c's. Reason why I did not go sign writen van was I did car valeting and did a lot of work removing it and got to see what damaged was caused.

So very professional ;D

Dave,

That means if some cowboy with no insurance ends up with a job throught the APWC, then it's going to reflect badly on your organisation.

Was about to post something the saw VG or SS ;D had deleted it. My work is 80% windows but 20% not so sign comes off when doing that side. There is a logic to it but won't go into it.

Dave,

From working on the slwcn site I can tell you it is a lot of hard work trying to get your site to the top in the search engines with the likes of ufindus etc.. There is a lot of work involved , speak to windowwashers about it.

Cheers

Doug.

ps you never replied to the email ;)

Doug,

Why would you want to try and get any site up the rankings with u find us.com or any of the other directories? Surely it's better to get your site listed on goole etc. on it's own. Which isn't really difficult

there is a certain directory that is online that just sells you things you dont need does it help you not really it helps them, i had a call about that last night, yes search engines can be a pain in the bum sometimes and people that dont know about them it can be a nightmare, I do well on all the major search engines and the little ones alike. i bit and choose what directories I go on as these can be bad things for business, but i am not going right into that.

APWC I also think you should only have insured window cleaners on your site, or at least have the option where it says insured or not. at least people then have the choice.

Sorry Art,

Was trying to say that ufindus etc.. are the competition in trying to get yourself up the search engine in google etc.. Not to get added on ufindus, they are a waste of money
