jeff,
how are you getting on with your gutter lance, we have one now and we are about to buy a petrol pressure washer, is the one you bought from toolstation ok, what do you do for water connect onto tap at customers or what. we have had a practice with ours at home and found it a little difficult to handle due to the pressure coming out of the nozzle. can you adjust the pressure on your washer
thanks

Hi Bill
Getting on with the lance just fine now! Like I say its a little on the heavy side, and I have 6 houses to do on the same day in about 5 weeks time, I am thinking of splitting it into 2 days, Just to give my arms a rest.

I connect to the custy's out-side Taps, You can buy the adaptor from northerntool so you can use a barrel instead.
The pressure can ba adjusted on the lance into 2 settings if you have bought the pack of 5 jets, one is a low pressure nozzle and the other 4 are high pressure, just set at different angles.

The pressure washer is good enough for the Jobs I do, its not being used every week, so if it breaks down its going to be on the 6 job one, and if it does its going back under warranty. ;D Toolstation is 5 minutes around the corner from me, so at least I'll be up and running the same day.

jeff,
as far as i can see there is no way to adjust the pressure on the lance, can you tell me how you do that, yes we have the jets and will probably use the one with the largest hole to jet the gutters as that will lower the pressure of the water coming out

Bill thats the way to adjust the lance's pressure, by fitting the Black Jet, its the low pressure Jet, I use it to move the crud along the guttering, if it has down pipes with an outlet, I just put a net bag over it and wash the crud down the drainpipe, if the crud is stuck in there put on one of your high pressure nozzles and blast it out.
