Bad week!!
« on: October 25, 2007, 10:54:15 pm »
Did a good deed for the day last Thursday and got a ladies car started with a jump from my van. She was so please as she was off to work. I was cleaning her neighbours windows at the time and thought maybe by helping out she would ask me how much or even would you clean mine, but no. Ahh well.

Next day on my way to my 1st call 9am my van packs up. Of all days left my moby at home and spent 1 hr looking for a phone box. AA came took me to my local garage they couldn’t fix it had to go to a diesel specialist. Got it back 1pm today, lost Fridays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays work and a whacking garage bill for £780. Who’s says it’s nice to be kind.

Thought I’d feel better getting it off my chest, Do I? NOPE!!!!!

A well peed off

X Reg Dispatch quite tidy and clean cost me £2.5 k
But already spent £90 on brakes needs a full £300 exhuast for MOT plus whatever else and £800 this week. Theres something to be said for leasing or buying new.

Do you lease or buy NWH?

I made the mistake of buying outright with no loans etc but i`m not doing that again, for the money i spent cash i could have got a thermopure and got a van on finance and claimed most of it back,i have an accountant that`s about 70yrs old and to long in the tooth. But when i change the van i`ll have have a deposit that will equate to at least 50% deposit.

Yea, the mother in law'll put that 20 quid down on the nags at the local bookies, come up with the winner and not tell you about it  :o

Was there a connection between the jump start and the breakdown Wayne?

I want a thermopure but am trying to source a cheaper version.

Hot has to be the way forward.

you can get them cheaper VG, thermopure is a brand name that you are paying for, if they broke down the costs to you, you would see I am telling the truth, soon enough there will be everyone selling it cheaper knowlege is power and power can command a high price as has the power to do it  ::)

I'm talking to a guy in the USA who sells portable gas powered water heaters at seriously low prices. They were originally designed for camper van/ RV use, but the specs are perfect for WFP. He's sorting out a package which will include all the extra's required to mount the unit in a van.
Can't wait to see what he comes up with!
It'll prob be a couple of weeks before its sorted,.. but I'll post details as soon as I receive them.

I'm looking and I'm having one, ionics or concept02 if I have to.

Anyone with half a brain has got one. What you are talking about is okay- but there is safety, fumes etc.

I have to say the concept20 is impressive, I have seen how it works firsts hand as they cleaned my house with it  ;D
