Radio 2 Debate, Listen again NOW!
« on: October 24, 2007, 02:56:47 pm »
Hi Guys the debate about window cleaning on the Jeremy Vine Show is now available to 'Listen Again'
Go to his page and click on Tuesday.
You will need 'Real Player' on your PC to use this facility, if you havent got it, the site will download it for you.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/vine/

Hope you all listen and I hope you think I gave em loads to think about, hope I spoke out enough for our trade, Certainly think I said more to protect us than the Guy from The window cleaning Fed did.

Have a listen and let me know what ya think.

Paul From Devon.

I listened to it.  These debates are never really successful, they're not meant to be, the main purpose is to provoke, nothing more, that's why they call them debates.  You're sticking your head in the lion's mouth.

Oh well, a bit of free national advertising for our 1,000 gallon a day hosepipes!!!  Which leave streaks!!!

just listened to it again, and yet it annoyed me ya again that a person can be more interested in water than someone welfare. maybe I should contact ITV or channel 4 maybe the sun newspaper and send them the show, I am sure they would have something to say. what do you recon guys

Could backfire badly.
What you need is a little frail old lady who also happens to be a window cleaner (I believe they are in short supply).
The media and politicians wheel little old ladies in all the time when it suits them.
There's probably an agency somewhere that rents out little old ladies.

need a cleaner

hAVE YOU NOTICE WHAT THE LAST1 SAID, I BELIVE SHE OWNS A CONSTRUTION COMPANY/
SHE SAYS THAT THE WINDOW CLEANING SHOULD BE PUT ON HOLD DURING THOSE PERIODS, WHAT ABOUT PUTTING CONSTRUCTION ON HOLD ASWELL AS THEY DO USE ALOT OF WATER, I BET SHE WOULD NOT LIKE THAT A BIT >:(

Just had a customer call me about the radio show her and her gang at coffee meeting was listening to the show, they all think wfp is a great idea and feel sry for the window cleaners using them, I cleaned her house yesterday when she was out with wfp she was out, I asked how her windows looked as she same as normal (have you cleaned my frames) I replied yes this was done with wfp  ;D she was over the moon as next coffee morning she will tell the group (they are like a mafia, please them and your sorted)
