Letters Before Action Charge only £2.00 (plus vat).

At the Letter Before Action stage the process could not be simpler, we only need a minimum of information from you

Plus a letter from a solicitor will do more than one from me

thomas higgins are the mutts. It costs £2.50 for a letter, that normally does the trick, and another set fee for court action, but I've never had any go that far

John this is the funniest part of there site ::)
Well-rewarded cleaners, resulting in quality and reliability  ::)
Perhaps they had to pay all these guy's to get them back?

I had the same problem with a welsh company and after sending out 4 invoices I got really cheesed of, I phoned my daughters in-laws whom are solicitors, she gave me the wording to go into the letter and told me to give them 7 days, I thought the time was a little short, but she assured me if they intended to pay then they would act quickly, 3 days after posting the letter I recieved my cheque in the post ;D

So your doing right, if a solicitors letter falls on the desk I expect they will pay you quickly.
Good luck with it and let us know how you get on.

I did a comercial clean for a shop fitter outfit once, sent loads of bills etc. Then I used a dept recovery firm, they charge £5 and 1.5% of what they recoverd. Also they aplied interest to the amount owing me on a daliy basis.

This went to court ballifs the lot, they got the monnies then went for costs and the firm closed down and moved. They found were they had moved to in another town and sent balifs again and got the monney. This took 13 months in total, then 2 weeeks later I had a letter from a company saying they had gone into recevership and they were dealing with the afairs of the compay.

I was lucky I had my monney, but a lot did not.

So dont delay act.

Have just had a heated debate with Mr Nichols himself , he got all stroppy that I had contacted the company who we did the job for to see if there was any problem with payment.
He told me he would see me in court.
So I have opened a account with Thomas Higgins, they have to send you a password by snail mail so you can log onto there site to see how your case is going.

We confirm that in accordance with your instructions a Letter Before Action has been written to each of the above debtors. We will send you an Action List in 3/7 days time. Until that time comes we do not need to know anything that happens on these accounts. If you receive any payments, telephone calls or correspondence we do not need to know. If we receive anything it will be sent to you the same day by first class mail. When you receive the Action List it is only necessary to contact us if you actually wish to commence proceedings. If the debtors pay or for some other reason you are not proceeding there is no need to tell us because our system will automatically clear the records after a reasonable length of time. Our system is designed to save both you and us time and money engaged in telephone calls.
