I think I've found the winning attempt  ;D the last one is just about perfect i think mate! the white writing on the blue bacground.
Yes the clothes I have chosen are navy blue and I'm sticking to that so the white motif on blue background imo will look the best!

Everyone is still welcome to try and come up with an even more impressive design if your not bored with trying by now lol

Adobe illustrator, I've only used the standard filters as it was a freebie so never took very long! ;) what do you create logos in WW?

Photoshop (and it is a nightmare sometimes, I am looking into others, but they are very expensive and need to find out which is best before spending another few hundred quid

Ian, you shouldn't be creating logos in photoshop, its for editing images, things will pixelate and are very small unless using large images. Illustrator works in linear meaning no matter how big or small your logos it will be 100% perfect each time. if you can get illustrator then do its well worth it

I know what you are saying about pixelating, I must be doing well with it as I have not had that problem to much, but is a pain in the bum sometimes will check out illustrator  ;)

you will get away with it Ian, but say for instance you want your logo blown up to the size of your van, you will either have to have the logo saved down as a monsterous image or re create it in an illustrator outline file which is tiny in terms of space but can be taken upto any size with minimal effort.

being both adobe applications they are easily transferable from one application to another with minimal fuss.

Its the way proffesionals work ;) 8)
