navara are nice, a van would look better IMO most dont get miffed about a van, but a navara for window cleaning I think would get up peoples noses to be honest especialy the people that cant afford one.

im sorry but who cares what they think,

you must choose wisely, a system rear mounted would be limited in capacity a trailer you could go from say 200ltr to 1000ltr

choose for what suits / needs you have

wrong attitude IMO for business caring about your customers means alot, I do understand what you mean when you say that by the way.
Choosing wisely to a valid point van mount depends on size of van, and remember if having a trailer your insurance 95% does not include towing, so best check on that one.

Unless you have a need to carry bales and sheep, or want to look like Farmer Palmer, you'd be better off with a van.

It'll look much better, and you won't be quite so worried about getting it dirty or scratched.

I had a trailer and hated it.
Can't park or turn round, runs away down hills, and dangerous.

I looked at a navara for work and deceided it would be a bad choice, you wouldn`t need to get a tailored tank but you would be able to carry more water if you did.Get a trafic or vivaro, the best vans for WFP WC me thinks.

A friend of mine was going to go for a all singing all dancing Hi-Lux, but decided it wasnt practical enough. So he has ordered a new Mercedes Vito Sport X instead, best of both worlds, good work vehicle but also nice to use for personal use.

A plumber cant think,      "oh just a minute i cant have this van even though i need it and its perfect for my needs, as my customers might get jealous in case they want one."

How ridiculous is that , we are exactly the same,  tradesmen of sorts... and we need a vehicle to accomodate our needs

If i owned a sandwhich bar and i drove to work in a rolls royce , now thats different. i would expect that to get up peoples noses.

but a van for work, its our office for the day, it needs to be the best we can afford to suit the job we are doing,

in fact in this game, the better the van the more professional we are perceived,

as we all know about the... £2.50 brigade.. and how professional and business like they come across.  :(

I just got a pre-reg 07 warrior double cab i can carry the kids/wife so it save the need for us to have 2 cars and a van. And yes i can carry my 400l up right tank in the back its a bit tight filling her up though.

I've been thinking of going down that route for the same reason, 2 seater courier van at the moment with 250 ltr tank, I'm thinking about getting a vauxhall brava crew cab next year, does anyone know what the payload would be? I'd like to carry 400 ltrs.

i looked at getting a warrior before changing my mind to a van, they look good but i dont think they are very practical for window cleaning, i think you would struggle to get your poles in the back and the back boxes aren't overly secure, if you do alot of miles the diesel can add up!
