WAHR update
« on: October 29, 2004, 05:14:56 pm »
Here’s an update on the WAHR which was posted on Andrew Walker of Edu-Clean’s “EUcleaningandrelatedservices” board. But be aware that it is now called EduCleanUK. In a nutshell, it looks like the construction industry standard for fall arrest equipment required above 2 metres will be rolled out to cover everyone involved in working at height.

It makes grim reading for anyone putting off the day to buy a wfp system, and, like Andrew, I would encourage everyone to read through this document, the links at the end, and to also add your feedback. If you do supply comments, pro or anti, please make sure that they are thought through, and not just a rant at more bureaucracy coming from above!

Here’s a link to the recently renamed board . . .

And this is to the article in question . . .

This isn’t a recruitment drive from Andrew, I asked him if it was OK to get this to as many window-cleaners as possible as it could have quite an effect on our industry.

I'm not a registered Yahoo user and am not in tearing hurry to become one. Is there any other way that I can view this information?

They're not the easiest BBs to get around, I must admit.

Is there any other way that I can view this information?
Not that I know of, but why not just bite the bullet to sign up and then get any posts sent direct to your inbox, or I think you can get a "Daily Digest" too. That would save some bother, I think.
