bill, if its a puppy you have a decent chance using usual urine removal methods if not it will be v difficult. I always find debrowner is worth a go if the usual urine stuff don't work.

You could put a hose on it then dry it as quickly as possible. This is what Dave Lihona showed me and a few other guys on the forum to do. Ideal for pee stains.

Depends on how its constructed though and (some would say) whether it's a bad bleeder.

not sure what you meen by  knotted but i dont think it was

There are quite few few threads where Dave Liahona talks about saturation cleaning especially were there are pee stains.

Sounds like your rug is not suitable anyway, but if it stinks and custie is going to chuck it anyway you could have a go.

I have done a few orientals this way that are hand knotted rather than modern cotton weave backing.

Alltec, Prochem and chespec all do one. Ring Richard at chemspec and he will probably send you a free sample as you only need to try a little bit. They are very good like that.
