Hot Solvent
« on: September 30, 2007, 10:53:14 pm »
Hi guys, I am coming to the end of my first year in the business and have been cutting my teeth on the budget end of the market. I use HWE and want to develop the business to attract more higher end customers. I have thought about buying a smaller HWE machine as a backup to my Ninja and am considering a machine with hot solvent. Does this seem a good move or are there better ways to say clean, curtains/rugs/upholstery. Any thoughts please. Peter

No Peter, buy a machine which your Ninja will be back up to.

My first machine was a ninja with hot solvent kit. It was a refurb machine/ much hevier too! Never used it and not many do.

Spend the money on a cfr handtool or some decent marketing.

Thanks Mike, marketing/advertising in hand but still need to think about a backup. I was thinking of a smaller machine for flats, apartments and upholstery as the Ninja is heavy even without hot solvent.
Best Regards

I disagree, I do loads of solvent cleaning on curtains. Safe & easy! Just my opinion.

Cheers!
