long time ago at school we had a thing that measured length in meters by way of a wheel on a wooden stick (you walked and it clicked every metre, I need to know the name of them, I have quite a few very large houses and 100m i am unsure if it would reach. I guess they have advanced since then but still cant remember what they are call.DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THEM AND WHERE TO GET ONE FROM?

would'nt it be better to buy another hose and just add it if the other is to short
