RO Filters - which way round
« on: September 26, 2007, 05:08:28 pm »
I just want to check which filter goes first in line, is it the Carbon (mesh) or the particulate (mooth)? or vise versa

The reason I'm asking is that these last set of filters have only lasted about 3 months, whereas the last lot lasted over a year

I think you're meant to change those pre-filters quarterly (if 10") or half yearly (if 20").  I'm surprised that you got a year out of them without wrecking the membranes.
