The reasons I telephone the night before are1 They can unlock backgates2 If they won't be in then they leave the money in a place we have agreed on, this way I collect 95% on the cleaning day, instead of waiting for the postman or me going back again.3 The majority really like this service and because of the telpehone package I have its does not cost me anything.4 As for them saying "not today thank you", well they can also say that when you turn up and then you have wasted your time and money, I will accept a not today, but they have to have a good reason, if it happen more than twice then they are binned.
But some of the 'older' customers don't like all the new gadgets out lol... so they ask me to post a leaflet through the day b4 reminding them Angry pain in the bum
