Pole Testing in PWC
« on: September 24, 2007, 07:50:08 pm »
I don't know how many people have read the recent article whereby several 44ft poles were put to the rigidity test. What I found interesting was that the superlite pole was not tested. Actually I was disappointed as I know in the new year I will need a long pole and would have liked to see the comparison before shelling out hundreds of pounds.
Upon reading further it said that "fishing poles" would not be tested as they are too flimsy for Window cleaning or not robust enough.
Now I have seen the video On Alex Gardiners website and that does not look flimsy to me so I think that it would have been fair to do a comparison so we can all see how flimsy (or not) these poles are?
So I ask, Is PWC biased to Ionics? (that's how it seems as they have a new pole out)
What are other peoples opinions?

Biased? They pay for the magazine  ;) ;)

It is quite informative in places, but just remember its basically an Ionics brochure!  :-\
