Went and picked up my IBC tank today, but things weren't that easy, first thing I had to do was to remove all gear from the trailer, then I had to remove the lid from it, (no easy job that one)
Picked my tank up, and got it home, now the fun begins, the side of my house is narrow and there is no way, I can get the tank through the door, so I removed the tank from the pallet, another easy job, now I have to get the pallet and frame into the Boss's shed? (Nightmare)
First thing I had to do was remove the shed roof because that was the only way it was going in, now being a corrigated roof it had some long 6'' nails in it, lucky I had seen them in a diy store last week, or it would have taken me ages to remove them, pair of mole grips and unscrewed about a dozen of them in no time, started to move the sheets and there was no way I could lift them on my own while keeping a good footing, so I shuffled them across to the next sheet and out of the way.
Now I had to get the cage for the tank up on top of the roof, The air was blue by this time, trying to stand on a 4'' brick wall while leaning down to grab this cage, I was cussing and the more I cussed the more the boss laughed, the more she laughed the more I cussed and all she could do was run in and get the camera and started taking photo's, I can assure you guy's, its a good job it wasn't a video camera or it would have been X-rated.
Got the cage up onto the roof and now I had to lower it into the shed, the beams to the shed are about 3' apart, so I had to do the splits to keep my balance, this made it so, when I lowered it down, my arms weren't long enough to gently place it on the floor and Al's the boss could do was laugh and take photos,
I'd had enough now, so I swore again and just dropped the cage down, That stopped her laughing, she wasn't expecting that, (what a noise)
Cage now in place in the shed, and the bl** container can stay where it is until tomorrow, because to top it all, it started to rain and I had to get the roof sheet back down, because I was getting GBH of the ear-hole about her freezer getting wet.
So tomorrow, I'll have all this to go through again, so its roof back off, (don't tell the boss, but I left all the screws out Lol) and I hope the wind stays down tonight. or I will be in the **** Where were you lot when I needed you???
Trailer with lid removed
Side of house narrow
Final stage of roof removal
Only one I could find with out me sticking my fingers up at the boss
Just before I got my footing wrong and dropping the cage in.
