Both the in & out on top of a DI vessel have hozlok type male fittings so you connect your own piece of hose just like any garden watering equipment.
The price seems reasonable if it includes vat & delivery. the resin inside an 11ltr vessel is worth approx 25 quid.

Don't run water through a DI vessel at full mains pressure. imagine your first pee after 3 pints, a wee bit faster than that. ;)

if you are using an outside tap with screw connection, full pressure is ok to run through the vessel,
but if you are using a customers sink tap, with a hoselok type , sink connector keep it low as the back pressure, will force water out the seals. or will damage it,

If water is run through a di vessel too fast it can't purify it quick enough resulting in water which doesn't read 000ppm. that's all. ;)

Hi,

To calculate what volume of purified water 25 litres of virgin mixed bed resin will produce, use the following formula.

500,000/TDS of water to be purified = litres purified.

In your case, with tap water at 30ppm TDS, you should get about 500,000/30 = 16,667 litres from a 25 Litre DI vessel.

Hope this helps, Andrew
