It was jay, but to repeat it would go against the grain of everything that upset me about it. If i was to repeat it, it would only get deleted. It's still under windowwashers quote, but that'll probably get deleted very soon too.  ;)

If you give me a couple of weeks I will let you know my opinion on a canvassing company. I'm going to get one in to give my work load a boost. Basically because I want to target a larger area that is practical to canvass but is practical to work around.

Dont know, i normally get a quick response within a day by email, or hours by phone? I spoke to Gemma last week and she said that they are really busy and the weather hasnt been good.

I was convinced i was gonna come home from work to this topic deleted. Kinda glad it isn't cos i wanna hear Davo's response. When i joined CIU 2 years ago i was overwhelmed by how much people that i didn't even know were prepared to bend over backwards to help struggling people out. And they still do to this day. As mentioned recently on one post, i owe what i am today and how much i'm earning today to quite a few people on this site. Why did they help me? Because they just did. They didn't ask anything in return. And as a newbie then, i tried to be courtious, polite and totally appreciative of any advice people were willing to offer me. My advice to you Davo is not to be so disrepectful. I still can't believe you posted what you did. But thats done now. And try and realise that people aren't here at your request. They have lives.....working, shopping, visiting family, doing day to day stuff that people do. And they cant always respond when you'd like them to. Try and show a bit more respect and you might just get the help that you obviously desire. As for the people that looked at you posting and didn't answer you.maybe that's because they just didn't have the answer.
Dino

Precisely. What would he prefer? A load of replies with people just saying "Don't know"?

Do you have a telephone number for them that I could try tomorrow. Its just that I'm trying to get everything done at a million miles an hour and I'm waiting weeks for other people to get back to me with things I need.

re above quore from dinos post.

Firstly Id like to thank those people that have tried to help me with this question.

Dino as you are probably aware of previous posts on all different kinds of forums, words in black and white can seem rather colder than the way the words sound in the posters head. Im sure that macmac would agree with me on that one. However I was frustrated by the lack of replies to my question, and also to a couple of posts i have made previously on this forum Where replies havent been overly forthcoming.

My post rather intimated that if u werent able to reply( cos u were to busy talking about ur black belt in whatever it is) rather than couldnt reply cos u didnt know I wasnt bothered, obviously I phrased it a different way.

But just for the record so you dont think im too much of a clever B*****d, this is an extremely well run informative and friendly forum.

The advice ive gained from this post has potentially saved me thousands and earned me a  similar ammount.

Mark.

Hi Mark. Thanks for putting your side across. I was hoping that you would at some stage today. Unfortunately,I don't think what you said could be open to misinterpretation and to compare it to what Macmac has said in the past is pretty lame. Secondly, i really don't know or understand your comment about me having a black belt. Maybe you could explain that to me.

The reference to the blackbelt was in response to another thread about carrying weapons at work and not aimed at you personally.

Yes it probably will.  The mod missed it in my quote but I decided to self delete anyway.  As I said before, I personally wasn't offended but it was obvious that a number of people would be offended so he should not have done it.

Thanks for the info.  I may yet put it to use but if I do, it would not be till after Winter.
