I have been setting up my new 40/40 RO today
I also purchased an RO Man booster pump which comes with a control pump.
Now I am pretty useless at this type of thing but I just cannot get the pump/s working.
Has anyone got one of these £200 things that could give me some advice.
The control pump screws into the top of the booster pump but they both have places to wire them up?
Do they both need to be wired up?
I have tried one then the other not a dickie bird from the pump

I'm trying to help you here Russ, but I need to see all the cables including the ends. there looks like no other connection ports for cables.

So unless anyone who has one comes on in the meantime get another piccy put up, then I may be able to help.
Bit of a poor show, you spend a couple of hundred quide on a pump and controller and they don't include instructions.

i.e. one on the pump and one on the control.

Russ it may be a good idea to change your heading from Tech guys please help, to help needed with pump and controller, if there not techy minded they wont read your post, but if you change the heading and they have a pump they can check theres for you?

Just a thought.

I can tell you your safe to plug them into the mains  and looking at the controler, you have it connected to the correct terminals, although I don't know what the terminals on the left are for.

P.S. Don't run it dry.

left ones are for 3 phase

I was pretty sure they were wired right but what I don't know is do they both then get plugged into the mains even though they are in effect 'one'
(does that make sense ?)

If the above is correct it then I have a problem as it is what I tried yesterday with no luck.

That was before I packed it all away and had a beer!to chill
Its been a bit of a mare doing this upgrade business but I'm certain it will all be worth it ? or shall I just send it all back and carry on with my normal R/O  : :

Rather than have two plugs in your sockets, you could link the controler to the pump, that way you only have one plug,
You may also find, that the controler has a safety device that cuts your pump out when no water present, once its plumbed in, switch on and away you go.
Thats why I said don't run it dry

To do that do I just run the normal wire between the two and does it matter which way?
I don't normally get involved with electrics as I am bloody useless.
If I had known it did not just plug in I would not have got this one.

Just remove your 3 pin plug from the controller and put the wire into the pump  along with the other mains you have already wired in.  (live to live/neutral to neutral/earth to earth.............(ashes to ashes dust to dust )

Have you got water flowing to your pump?? if not it more than likely won't work.

Is the red buton a reset switch or just a screw? if a button press it and then recheck.

Have a look around it for a pressure regulating screw, it may have one and it may be set to high, Now I'm stabbing in the dark Russ.
Where did you get it? do you have a link to there site?

OK i will look around the unit for the screws

I have tried the red button various ways 

It came from RO-MAN they do not run a support telephone line
just a helpdesk by email (i found out last week with r/o grief)
I don't think the' helpdesk'  is UK based

And it is not a lot of use to me as I need to be out grafting not sitting in front of a PC waiting for an email.

Lost three days work last week because R/O damaged on delivery and unable to get assistence until Fri/Sat

How Frustrating is this

There about half hour drive from me : I could have gone down there for you last week and got help over the counter. :

I have heared there not very good with emails and over the phone, never dealt with them myself, so don't know how true it is?

When you switch on your pump, do you hear anything like a click or any sort of other noise?

No noise- no lights- no pumping
