When i start to post out some flyers is it worth me writing the price on them or wait for a call then go round to tell the customer the price?

Never quote before seeing the whole property. You could quote a price, get round the back & there could be a con or extension.

It would take too long anyway. To be sucessful with fliers you need volume and I am talking in terms of thousands, even tens of thousands for a leafleting campaign.
Just go head down and bash them out, the more the merrier. Then sort out the enquiries as you get them.

will do  :)

I am also thinking of getting a WFP trolley system as allot of houses i see have bay windows which makes it hard to reach the top ones - plus some have over hanging sloping roof types over the ground floor window which also makes it hard to get the ladders up to clean the top.

Just trying to think what to do, either try a DIY trolley or buy one ready made.

Hi Dazza

I have put out two different leaflets in the past few months. One was a bog standard this is who I am, this is what we do and this is how to contact me leaflet. Got about  a 1% response to them.

Then John Garnett posted his method at post 23 here - http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=41161.20#msg327125

I had some printed up and it is a far far better way of doing it. My hit rate has gone from about 1% to about 10%. They are much better.
