In sage you get the chance to customise accounts to suit whatever it is you are doing. Could come kind soul who hae already done this tell me what nominal default layout of accounts I am likely to need?

I'm a market trader, have to set the stall up in the morning and pack away at night 5days a week. I have 182 customers now and struggle a bit.

My wife insists on holidays, usually 3wks long haul cuba or dominican, and then a couple of weeks in turkey. I'm like you Ian I'd rather have a good business.

One more thing. It aint you who's frightening the pants of Ian Beale is it with all that cindy stuff?

No M8 I dnot want his cafe and fish and chips shop I run a cafe once nightmare, fish and chip shop again was going to do this about 4 years about but the 90k outlay for what i thought was a good idea seemed to but me off, property developing is a little side line ayt the mo this does well do for, pays for the holidays and wifes clothes and nails etc.

Market trader good one you my man, I had one once did really well but what is was selling was takinbg me to long to build and window cleaning was making more in less time, I stopped it as time to me is money and the more time i spend making money is less time i get with my boys and wife, to me I work for us all to have a good living and spending time with them to me is priceless

If you have just installed the program, select the

General Business - Standard Accounts option

At a later stage you can change or add nominal ledgers to suit your business.
