Hi all,

I know some of you use the 'Nuematic George' trigger to regulate the flow on your poles.
Can anyone tell me how long they last?

i been using them for the last couple of years now,as long as you dont chuck your pole about,the trigger will be fine,i have not replaced my ones yet.

Hi Malcolm,

Just recieved mine today and fitted it this afternoon. Tried it out and I like it. Feels good, gives water on demand and doesn't waste a drop. I can see it saving a lot of water which will be crucial for me as I'm using a 25ltr Freedom trolley.

In view of your comments I'm now going to order a second one for my other pole.

A further tip if you buy one.

The nickel plated hose connector on the inlet side of the trigger is meant for a quick release connector. So if you don't have the appropriate female conector or can't get one, remove it and replace it with the brass one from the end of the black hose. (remove the spring and ball bearing from inside the brass one as you won't need these)
It's a perfect fit and it has a small 'O' ring inside that makes it water tight. A pic similar to this has been posted before but this is my one.
However, if you can get a female quick release connector this is even better as you can disconnect at the trigger instead of inline. I find this makes things easier for carrying and transporting the pole.
There is a trader selling these on eBay at the mo as well. Type in the search box, "6mm Microbore Quick Release Connector" and that should do it.

Just ordered one, really liking the idea. Do you have to keep it depressed for water to flow, or is it a click on, click off handle?

Also when you connect the trigger to your pole you are left with a fan nozzle, attach that to the brush head with some plastic ties to the underside of your brush head and use that instead of your jets, you will notice a more powerful jet.
