Hi Guys

I think once more people realise it's there more will use it. Some people may be put off because when you you it for the first time it asks you to download a bit of software. Unfortunately, it doesn't work without it.

Regards

Mike

Discovered the Chat room last night, by accident, and spent half hour chatting with Mr Robinson.
Great feature and lets hope more people make use of it. ;D
Maybe there should be an hour when peolple know it will be VERY busy......ie 2000 to 2100 etc. Could solve problems instantly  ::)

the busiest time seems to be early evening so I suspect it'll find it's own peak times over the next few weeks

Your problem could be a common one and would explain the lack of use.

Des & Ian,

The software download prompt takes several seconds to appear - with a dial-up connection could take much longer.

Niel,

A chat room is a virtual space where messages can be passed in real time - like the instant messages available in most forums, but everyone logged into the room can read all messages and responses.
