Leaking 'hoselock' connectors
« on: September 05, 2007, 11:02:39 pm »
The above connectors (or similar) are used to connect hose to outside taps, Di units, microbore hose reels and WFP tubing.

There ALWAYS seems to be water leaking from at least one of them! I'm fed up of renewing these connectors.

I want a totally watertight system.

Do you suffer the same problem - or have you got something better than me?

All tips gratefully received.

Thanks.

Yes.

Drip, drip, drip!  Not much more than that though,  but inside a van or garage or shed in winter it is bad!

They are good, but not designed for what we use.  Go for more permanent fittings, brass screw on, or something similar from wfp suppliers.
