always say 4 to 6 weeks 4 weeks is the min and we try for this but the weather holds us back a little sometimes, we do not do 6 weeks it is 4 to 6 simple.
they seem to understand after you been a little blunt.

I try and keep to a 6-8 wkly basis,handfull of 3mthly.With WFP every 6-8 wks there a doddle but anything over that they start to get a bit to grubby.

yes i think you have to be strict with your customers and times that you are going to clean their windows from the start, run your business your way not their way.

I had an enquiry recently from someone who wanted "once or twice" a year.  He was from the other side of the Atlantic and it turned out he wasn't aware that we did things differently over here.  When I said that for that size of job I only did 6 weekly he was amazed.  As I have gaps in my work I offered to do a one off but he wasn't interested.

They only have once or twice a year, but pay silly money.
You could have charged him £50 for a standard semi and he would have been happy.

Mind you, that's cheap compared to some on here. :

I personaly take on most " out of the ordinary"  accounts.
BUT, they pay for it, e.g.
 a twice a year clean would be charged 2 to 3 times normal rate.
I would do the clean when it suited me & not them.
If the time-scale doesn't suit me then they pay, not me, simple.
If they don't agree then i've lost nowt, if they do then it's extra bucks for me & now'n again, when they see what a difference clean windows make they ask for a more frequent clean (only now'n again mind).

Turn a no-go job around to your benefit, nothing to lose IMO.

most of my round is 4 weekly , i have some 8 weekly ( i dont advertise 8 w )
i wont and dont do 12/16 w etc
i also dont do one offs , though i have managed to talk some of them into 8 weekly !

I do most of mine 6 weekly.  If a job is worth more than £50 then I'm prepared to discuss 12 weekly.  I used to only do them less frequently if they were £100+ but I've had to climb down a bit from that stance.

I have some on 4/5 /6/8 weeks but the 4 weekly are the priority and the others get done when i can fit them in.

do mine every fortnight then my montlys drop in with them its a never ending thing start at the begining get to the end and start again . i love it my custys luv it they have clean windows & i have loads ov wonga  im luvinn it luvvin it luvvin it .

You want to go from a 5 weekly clean to a 7 weekly clean madam, no problem, that will cost you 75% more per clean.
