positive & negative conection on shurflow
« on: August 19, 2007, 06:51:45 pm »
I have a 100psi shurflow pump. It has 2 red leads in the top and one black lead in the bottom. Is there 2 positives connections on this pump and the black is negative or do we just guess. I need to know as I have to fit a regulator.
Cheers

1 of the red wires on the pump is for the pressure switch, follow the 1 that goes to the switch and just cut it off.If you use a varistream you use the 2 wires coming out of the top of the pump 1 red and 1 black no other wires are needed, that other red wire your talking about should have a clip on it for the pressure switch, that`s the wire to cut but you only lose this wire if your using a varistream.

Yes its a varistream I going to fit. So I disconnect the one thats at the top, it just pulls off , so I just leave this one off and connect the 1 red and 1 black?

The red wire on the pressure switch should already be connected up,cut it off.
