Alright people, just want too know how much you would charge for all the windows circled using Wfp, height is about 50ft.

For a one off clean
8 weekly clean
12 weekly clean
6 monthly clean
Annually clean

hard to tell without looking at it but for the first clean and being on the safe side £300 they work out how long its going to take. i would be taking into account the height and location as i would want somebody with me for safty reasons and the cost of the poles.

i do a block of flats that have the same amount of windows and height in exeter and 12 weekly cleans are £150 take 2 hours. thing is there maybe many wfpers out there and many starting but there arnt many that can reach this height (cost of poles) so this must be taken into account. had some other wfper the other day ask if i could do 8 3rd & 4th story windows for him as he only had a 24' pole and it wouldnt reach and he cant afford the magga bucks for a 50' pole. thing is he is going to have to reprice the job as he didnt take into account the time it takes setting up and moving around building safely at this height. it not like using a 24' pole iis it

I agree with vwm not many window cleaners will be able to reach that height.

There was me thinking your circle was infact an eager christmas fanatic with yet more lights!

Personally, I would look at the time v hourly rate. Add a % for the high level work and also a % for early morning if that is the way they want you to do them.

As you stagger the frequency you need to up each price as naturally you will have more dirt and grime on the windows. Raise by about 10% per frequency.

You would also need to section off some of the pavement to stop anyone walking past you and the building.

Should take about 1 hour to do, but this is depends on how much dirt and grind is on the windows.

I do hope they go for a regular clean so I can justify buying a longer pole, cos i got rid of my 60ft pole last year

Dont fancy buying one just for a one off clean, If not ill have to make some phone calls and try to borrow one.

I reckon about an hour for maintenance cleans too Dave.  Perhaps I would take more the 90 minutes on a first clean though.  I do seem to make a meal out of them.  I would probably go over the whole lot twice.  The biggest difficulty with that job would be the location and messing around with the H & S preparation on the public walkway.  Looking over this thread, although I charge a lot more than I did a year or two ago, I'm starting to wonder if I'm still too cheap.  I quoted £135 for a job recently that I reckon will take me three hours once I get past the first couple of cleans.  It's 3 hours work, not 3 hours p'ing about.  I assumed 45 quid an hour for such a job was pretty good myself but maybe I should be quoting £80+ an hour or something - after all, that's what they charged for fixing my van.

yep, i would have said that would take a hour, then i add a extra hour on for travel and a bit of extra money

Charge by the hour?are you in this job for a laugh,and then add an hour for travel i don`t think so.So if you charge only for example £50 an hour and you add 1 hour travel time so another £50 you think that`s a good price.Jobs like that get me a days pay before lunchtime with a profit,stick with the £240-300 figure that price should be accepted as it sounds about right.

£50 an hour.  Maybe I am still too cheap then.  I have the odd job where I can manage the equivalent of £60 an hour but mostly it's around £35.  I even have some bits where I only get to a bit over £20.  I'm not prepared to give them the chop yet though as I already have to many gaps in my business.
I thought that the job I priced recently at £135 for what I reckon will be three hours was a decent rate.  I have made big changes in the way I work over the past couple of years.  Maybe I need to make a few more.
